Right now myself and the intercept team are watching a low pressure area associated with a tropical wave over the central atlantic ocean about 1500 miles east of the southern windward islands, Has become a little better organized this morning. Although environmental conditions are only marginally favorable... Some further development of this system is possible... And a tropical depression could form over the next day or so as the low moves westward at 10 to 15 mph.

The low pressure is now located about 1250 miles east of the southernwindward islands. The associated shower and thunderstorm activity remains limited in extent this morning. However... This system still has the potential to become a tropical depression during the next day or two as it moves westward at 10 to 15 mph... We are still watching the low pressure and will up date this as we have more info for you.

LOCATED ABOUT 1000 MILES EAST OF THE SOUTHERN WINDWARD ISLANDS
MOVING WESTWARD AT 10 TO 15 MPH. THIS SYSTEM HAS SOME POTENTIAL FOR
TROPICAL CYCLONE FORMATION DURING THE NEXT DAY OR SO BEFORE
UPPER-LEVEL WINDS BECOME LESS FAVORABLE FOR DEVELOPMENT.
